Steering Committee

The Steering Committee makes high-level decisions about GA4GH directions, values, and deliverables. It consists of leaders from the Technical and Foundational Work Streams and from the Driver Projects—all leading experts in the areas of cancer, rare disease, basic biology, and complex traits. Steering Committee members are appointed through a nomination process; the Chair and Executive Director are appointed by the Steering Committee. As a group, the Steering Committee membership reflects the diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and geography of the GA4GH community.
