Clinical Genome Resource (ClinGen)

Builds central resources defining the clinical relevance of genes and variants

The Clinical Genome Resource (ClinGen) is an NIH-funded, global effort to engage the community in generating an authoritative, evidence-based resource to support genomic interpretation. ClinGen’s work spans the aggregation of clinical and genetic data, the curation and expert review of evidence according to standardised frameworks, and the dissemination of products to the community.

Funding for ClinGen comes from the US National Institutes of Health National Human Genome Research Institute.
