Public Attitudes for Genomics and Policy Blog

Genomic research, which is pivotal to advancements in medical diagnosis and treatment, relies heavily on the donation of genomic and other medical data by numerous individuals and sharing of that data between research groups. There is an extensive body of published academic research examining public attitudes towards storage and sharing of genomic data. These blog posts summarise the outcomes of this research and explain the policy implications. While some of the blog posts focus on policy implications from a large multinational study, the Your DNA Your Say initiative, other blog posts focus more attention on public attitudes within specific populations.
