Data Sharing Lexicon

Provides common or concordant terminology for data sharing within GA4GH and across jurisdictions, disciplines, and individual providers of health care and research

Despite the benefits of genetic and genomic technologies, siloed data sharing between  researchers, jurisdictions, and institutions remains a consistent challenge. The GA4GH Data Sharing Lexicon aims to facilitate a shared understanding of the terms which underpin the practice of data sharing for health and research purposes. This allows for consistent usage of terminology within policy documentation as well as in agreements.
