Join the Beacon Implementers Forum

Join the inaugural meeting of the GA4GH Beacon Implementers Forum on 23 July!

We are excited to launch the GA4GH Beacon Implementers Forum. This forum aims to foster knowledge sharing and cross-community collaboration to support the integration and innovation of Beacon in research and clinical genomics.

The forum will convene regularly, providing a space for implementers to share their current activities, technical challenges, and solutions. While more technical in nature, this forum is intended for anyone who is interested in or has already implemented the Beacon standard.

Join the first meeting on Wednesday, 23 July at 7:00 PDT / 10:00 EDT / 15:00 BST. During the session, Denis Bauer (CSIRO) will share a behind-the-scenes technical perspective on deploying sBeacon, including lessons learned and key takeaways. Following the presentation, there will be a deep dive into Beacon and an open discussion to delve into questions and community needs.
