Google Summer of Code has accepted 6 GA4GH projects

The GA4GH community is excited to mentor contributors from all over the world who are interested in tackling current challenges in genomics.
The approved projects are:
- Dashboard Web Components (React, Vue etc) for file upload and handling for DRS API
- Python library for packaging and reusing Cloud Computing workload traces
- Python Flask microservice for importing, storing, and sharing research artifacts
- TESK – A GA4GH-TES based Kubernetes batch execution service
- Crypt4GH Support for GA4GH Task Execution Service API Implementations
- Extensible GA4GH Client Library/SDK and Command Line Interface implemented in Rust
GSoC 2024 Contributors will actively engage with their new open-source community and become familiar with their organizations during this Community Bonding period.
