GA4GH Public Attitudes blog post explores individual attitudes toward medical and genetic data sharing in Latin America and the development of two new indexes

In the newest GA4GH Public Attitudes for Genomic Policy forum blog post, Gabriela Chavaría Soley, Ronald Alfaro Redondo, and Henriette Raventós (Universidad de Costa Rica) write about the willingness of Latin Americans to share their genetic information for non-profit goals. However, they highlight that sociodemographic factors and levels of concern in case of loss of anonymity play an important role in the decision.
