GA4GH fireside chat with Peter Goodhand and Catalina Lopez-Correa

GA4GH held its first fireside chat discussion on 3 November 2021.

For the first installment of the fireside chat series, GA4GH CEO Peter Goodhand spoke with guest Catalina Lopez-Correa, who serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Genome Canada and executive director of the Canadian COVID Genomics Network (CanCOGeN). They discussed Dr. Lopez-Correa’s work, including: CanCOGeN’s COVID-19 data sharing efforts; Silent Genomes Project; equity, diversity, and inclusion in Colombia, as co-chair of G2MC; and the International and Immigrant Women in Science Network in Canada.
