Share your feedback on the GA4GH Product Development and Approval Process v2.0

GA4GH has updated and streamlined its Product Development and Approval Process (PDAP). Notable highlights include:

• early reviews and checkpoints to integrate more feedback loops and prevent late-stage surprises;
• the introduction of risk tiers to tailor the depth of technical alignment, regulatory, security, and AI reviews for each product;
• a single living document that follows the product throughout its lifecycle;
• a streamlined consent model for product approval voting.

We invite the community to review and comment on the proposed process by 18 June 2026.
